It's been 76 days since the U.S. team laced up the boots for a full international match and to talk to the players, it's time to get back to work. The USA will open the Algarve Cup tomorrow, March 4, taking on Denmark in Lagos, Portugal in the first match since a Dec. 17, 2008, victory over China. Fans can follow the USA-Denmark clash on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker at 7 a.m. ET. If you are on the West Coast, well, you can check the score when you get up.

I'm on the west coast. No finding out the score when I wake up. I AM going to wake up at 4am. That's how great of a fan I am haha. I'm gonna be dead at school...
ReplyDeleteI love it how Barnhart is the only one that's all covered in mud (I can't tell if Hope is too, but she probably is), and everyone else is nice and clean, except for the sweat. :)
Megan looks fierce!
ReplyDeleteGO GO GO USA!
ReplyDeleteI'm skipping out on my 1-3 period classes to watch :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try and wake up at 4am to track this game so make it a win ladies. USA, USA, USA, :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, eagle#18, I was going to say the SAME thing. I live on the east coast, so I'll be up at 7, but if I DID live on the west coast, I'd STILL be up at 4am to catch the game. I don't ever miss them. <3
ReplyDeleteAlso? Nice look, Barnie, AND Rapinoe, haha. XD
The match tracker is great (fortunately I live on the east coast!), but I've been dying to see the ladies in action! I haven't seen a USWNT game since the first Ireland friendly of the Achieve Your Gold Tour! When will the TV be playing some USWNT games??? ESPN said on a commercial that they would be having the USWNT's games on, but I don't know if that's going to happen. I can't wait for the WPS, at least we get to see some of the actual games, thanks to Fox soccer channel. But I'd really like to see the International games on TV.
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the win! hail the dimartino power and the power of woznuk for scoring!
ReplyDeleteThe west and east coasts, Angie (Portland and San Diego) and Tina (UCLA New Jersey) repped us well in the Denmark game.
