According to tradition, tin is the gift to give for a 10-year anniversary, and since 10 years ago today the U.S. Women's National Team lifted the shiny, metallic Women's World Cup Trophy at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., we'll consider that appropriate. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since that magical moment when Brandi Chastain nailed the fifth and decisive penalty kick against China in front of 90,185 fans and 40 million more watching on TV in the United States. We shouldn't forget that the teams battled through 120 tense minutes to get to that shootout on a stifling hot day, taking everyone who was watching on the roller-coaster ride of their sporting lifetimes.
