Rain, Rain Go Away

The players warmed up and have gone back into the locker room, but we just got some more lightning (and thunder!) so kickoff is delayed a bit more. The stands have been cleared...We are are going to stop posting here and let MatchTracker take over...

What an awesome game! First with not knowing if they were actually going to get to play, to sitting watching our Women's National team take the field. It was just awesome to get to see them play with our girls, who also play soccer. Imagine that.. ha

We can't wait to watch them in the Olympics and the next time they return to Cary!

Abby's header goal had to be the most awesome goal of the night but the show stopper was Carli's goal at the stoppage time!

congrats on winning it under the rain! It shows that rain doesn't hamper the team now!

Anyone know how I can get 2008 yearbook before May 12th (my soon to be nine year olds bday). She's nuts about soccer, Abby and the women's national team, but unfortunately we are on the West Coast (and no games scheduled here yet). Any tips appreciated, as Heidi really wants this for her bday. She's got the life size Wall Banger of Abby on her wall and that is the last person she says good night to and the first person she says good morning to....
Thanks

well played ladies and way to go on finding a way to score the winning goal in stoppage time. Good game in not great conditions.

Does anyone know how Kai is doing? It looked like she was limping at the end of the 1st half with what appeared to be a tweaked ankle and then she was pulled and didn't play at all in the 2nd half. Is she doing alright?
